Motivation For Success In All You Do

Motivation is a driving force and part of the core functioning of every person. Your energy system which drives you and sustains you needs a driving force to move you to action.

It is the driving force in your energy system that gets you going and keeps you going. Without a driving force in your energy system all activity stops. When all activity stops all progress stops.

For business owners and entrepreneurs getting and staying energized is absolutely necessary for business success. Staying motivated is the key.

You can be energized one day and de-energized the next. So, how do you keep the drive going?

You keep the drive going by having a system that you follow that is proven and that works. When you follow a system that gets good results consistently you are on your way to achieving your dreams.

Fundamental to business success is marketing. And, fundamental to marketing is sales. Many people have no problem coming up with a great product or service for a business, but selling and marketing that product or service is another story.

Universally, roughly 80% of all people that begin a career in sales fail within the first six (6) months. One primary reason is that most people don't have a proven system for self-development. You must keep improving yourself to keep the drive going in the face of set-backs, failures, and adversity.

A program of self-development and behavioral change has five (5) steps. They are,

  1. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Accepting yourself as you are now.
  3. Understanding how your thinking and behavior affect yourself and others.
  4. Deciding to improve yourself. And,
  5. Committing to a plan of action to change behavior.

This last step involves change. You have to understand and accept the fact that self-actualization involves change. Change is fundamental to human life.

When you embrace change and foster change within yourself you harness one of the greatest agents of self-development. If you can control the change that takes place in yourself you can make changes that will enable you to accomplish your goals and dreams.

Letting change happen without your active control and direction is self-destruction. Don't wake up one day and find yourself unable to function, and unaware of the changes that have happened that make you want to quit.

If it can be measured it can be improved.

Everyone that strives to achieve anything worthwhile in life, no matter what it is, will meet challenges and adversity all along the way. What makes the difference between those that succeed and those that fail is having a system that can be relied upon to get through the rough spots and storms in life.

You have to know where you now, your starting point, to get to where you want to go in self-development. You need a proven system of self-analysis that will tell you what you need to know about yourself in order to make constructive change happen within yourself.
